The Tower over the Town

This week has went well, and we have started our German language class. I was placed in the correct class and I am excited to see how this class will go. I’m hoping my German improves before I come back.

This week though as you can tell by the title I went to a tower over the town I am in. The tower is called the Spiegelslustturm or the Kaiser-Wilhelm Tower. It sits on a hill and offers lovely views. It was a bit of a rainy and foggy day, but it gave the woods on the hike up to the tower and the view of Marburg a fairytale or medieval vibe. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

I love how the moss clung to everything

You can pay to light up the heart on the tower

  2. Hi, Kendra! Looks like you're getting in some sight seeing, loved the castle:-) and is that tower on a church or what? Is that a selfie picture? Or were you with someone. Have you made any friends, yet? Your Mom said that German class is to get you prepared for the college classes, that's good, I'd say. God Bless you and keep you ever Safe in His arms, Love always, Grandma

    1. Hello. The tower is jsut by it self on the hill, not part of any other building. That is a selfie that I took, but I did take the hike up with someone else. Her name is Ducky and she is my friend. Love you too.
